So far I didn’t succeed in installing eOS.
I am using an PC with Ubuntu and tried to install adb devices and fastboot devices. adb seems to work, but not fastboot devices (which during the install process tried to get files from “mirrors.neusoft.edu.cn” without success. I don’t know what to do about this issue. Do I have to remove something before I can proceed?
By using an opera browser I went through the e/OS Installer process and did the necessary settings on the phone. But the USB settings on the phone do not accept, that the PC is controlling the connection. Is this is necessary? If so, how can it be fixed?
Anyway I tried to proceed. The Installer seems to recognize the phone, because it is offered to choose. But if I try to connect, the following error message appears.
Any suggestions, what to do?

The device is not connected Failed to connect: Cannot connect ADB Failed to request USB device: Failed to execute ‘requestDevice’ on ‘USB’: No device selected.
Proposal: Check connection and that no other program is using the phone and retry.
