My phone works, but it keeps giving me errors that I don’t know how to fix. One of them is “Your account null”, where it says “Your login/password is incorrect, please login again.” (Yes, with the comma splice.) The other one is an HTTP 400 server error. The latter seems to be related to Yahoo’s calendar (huh?), and I don’t know what’s going on with the former, because clicking on it just takes me to the settings menu with no indication of what the problem is. Does anyone have any insight as to what is going on here?
At best you changed the main password, or enabled two-factor-authentication (2FA / MFA) that enforces usage of app-passwords (tokens basically) → Solution: update password or token in Accountmanager.
At worst, the message “Your account null” points at the accountmanager (AM) doing a sync on a incomplete account entry that got created somehow.
You’d need to survey AM entries it syncs
at Settings → Accounts how many are shown and if what you’d expect
or deeper at Settings → Apps → See all Apps → upper right Show System → search for “Account” → choose “Account-Manager” → Additional settings in the app → use back arrow in upper left → are more entries shown than in the basic Settings → Accounts before?
Well, my e-mails don’t sync properly, at least. The most recent ones in the inbox are from June 6.
As for the accounts, there are actually fewer listed in the account manager than in the other account menu, if you count things like my contacts being listed separately. There are essentially 3 accounts, though, which is correct for e-mail. I don’t see a way to change any account passwords, though it is worth mentioning that my passwords are different between each of the 3 accounts.
I have exactly the same problem, also one e.email and one yahoo account.A few days After removing and re adding one in the mail app, the error message shows up again. Synch seems to be working on both accounts.
I recently imported the mail settings from my old e os mail - maybe that plays a role?
