Unsure about the GIS I installed 10 or 11 – I gave it away in 2023 – and I did not keep any build/ROM in my project folder.
I will try to install GIS Android 14 from @null , probably via dirty upgrade and cross fingers.
Worst case, I start from scratch and maybe find the right steps again, to get an older GIS installed.
@make-nz try to backup the installed /e/ GSI (official Q) as it is currently no more available ! (use adb root shell adb pull command, ask @gbe for that )
also one have to contact phhusson the GSI guru ,because the a8 (2018) page he host on his github is outdated and links are broken (i can’t because my poor english)
Well, that did not workout, got a non booting device, but managed to flash
TWRP: twrp-3.3.1-0-jackpotlte.img.tar
I somehow remembered many others/newer failed in ODIN and I had to flash 3.6.0_9-0 from within TWRP 3.3.1-0

I don’t have time right now, but the next step for me is to do a last attempt from the beginning with the wipe trick. I hope it’ll work because i’m beginning to get lazy. Plus, if i can’t install the latest /e/OS GSI it’s vain for me. Such a shame…
