I’ve just connected my SGS10 to external display.
For now it just mirrors the screen, which is fine for the beginning.
that would be great if it was possible to have a toggle to turn off phone display + horizontal orientation force in such a case.

I’ve just forced desktop mode.
Importunately didn’t find the option for turning off phone display.
Besides, the desktop mode works better and … battery has option not to be loaded when phone is connecte to usb-c, which is very nice.
