Hi. I’m just moving to /e/. In making the move I couldn’t find information on the shipping information post-Brexit. Thought I’d share my experience for those that come after me. I bought a FP3+ with express shipping. You order from /e/ without VAT or taxes, and it gets changed on entry to the UK.
UPS charged an £11.50 brokerage fee + £68.88 in ‘government charges’ which is 20% of the phone cost (safe to assume this is VAT). No other charges were levied. I got an email from UPS on the morning the phone was due to arrive with payment instructions (either online or on the doorstep).
Maybe others will post their post-brexit order experiences to help other UK customers.
