Unable to import contacts from vcf file

Hi I’ve just installed eOS on a new phone, and copied a vcf file there from my old phone. When I go into contacts and say import from vcf and navigate to the file it is grayed out and won’t let me select the file.

Is there a way around this? I haven’t created an ecloud account - just trying to import locally.

I got it to work eventually. For some reason when browsing for the file via the Downloads dir it is grayed out, but if I go back to the root, and navigate to the same dir it is selectable and works.
