Unable to install Apps

Hi, I am using a Fairphone 5 /e/OS 3.2. The App Lounge does not open any app, and therefore I can’t install additional apps. I have deleted storage and cache, which makes no difference. Via the PWA and Open Source way I installed Aurora. I can find the apps such as Signal, X and Instagram. However, a message comes up that that my phone is not compatible with those. I have also tried a Google Play Store account, same message. I managed to directly download and install Signal, but can’t find save download places for the other apps I need. What else can I do? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hello @Stephan, Welcome to the /e/ users forum.

Try to change the fake phone model in AppLounge awaiting next update that is expected to solve this issue on FP5.

Thank you very much. It worked. What a relief!

my critique is murena really should have either made a FP5 v3.2.1 point release a month ago or specially handle the device in AppL via an hotfix (there is a self-update mechanism).

Can’t let this go on for that long once the cause is known. My theory is that no dev uses the FP5 as daily
