Hello! I’m unfortunately having a terrible time trying to install /e/ on my Pocophone. I’ve followed the guide, but it seems I can’t boot. I just get taken to the fastboot screen. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
So, you installed stock MIUI (Android 8.1, pls make sure that it wasn’t MIUI-EU or any other MIUI-flavour)?
Which ROM and android version were you on before you tried /e/ ? Coming from Pie back to Oreo can cause bootloop on some devices. I have experienced a similar 'stuck-at-the-bootloop- scenario while testing the ROM on my MiA1. Now have to stick to Pie ROM’s.
Yes, I did read that post, but I didn’t help much. I was coming from Lineage OS, which I ended up having to go back to.
I was coming from Lineage OS 9.0.
I originally had MIUI, but changed to Lineage OS after I unlocked my bootloader.
LOS 9.0 is Pie. The /e/ official build for F1 is on Oreo. The OS downgrade would most probably be the reason why the device is going into a bootloop.
Ok, as Manoj has written, the problem is the downgrading.
So flash miui android 7 again and than you can flash e successfull
