Unable to log into the AirBnB app

Hello ! Is anyone able to use the AirBnB app on /e/ OS (or any ROM with MicroG) ?

I’m unable to log into the app : I enter my phone number, then I quickly get an error message “You’ve reached the maximum confirmation attempts number. Retry in 24 hours.” (translated from french).

Have you tried the “Magisk” and “MagiskHide” workaround ?

No, because I don’t think it has anything to do with Magisk and/or the phone being rooted, but rather an incompatibility with MicroG/GCM.

I’ll give it a try nonetheless and report back. :slight_smile:

Magisk have a “Safety Net” module.

The AirBnB app uses Google’s reCAPCHA so it isn’t going to work with MicroG. Sorry!

You can use Airbnb on /e/ with chinese version.
