Unable to receive group texts in messaging app

For some reason I’m no longer able to receive group text messages in the e OS native messaging app. I can send group texts just not receive them. I can send and receive individual texts. I haven’t changed any settings. I cleared the messaging app cache and data but still can’t receive group texts. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I believe I got it working now. I went to the messaging app settings and tapped the button several times that says “Sync messages. Re-sync your messages with the native Android SMS database”. Now I’m receiving group text messages.
