Unable to reset my e.email password

After experiencing several problems I’ve lost my PWD to gain access to my emails
Each time I try to reset it there is something wrong happening so my PWD remains unchanged
I am using e/ since more than a year on a s9+ Samsung (reconditioned) and most of apps work very well. While trying to remove some files of my murena cloud I have made something wrong that leaded me to loose the PWD. Is this password the same for cloud and for e.email login ?

This morning I’ve received the password reset link and it worked
Now I have access to my e.email and sync my phone
