Unable to send pictures over 600KB via text app

Has anyone else experienced a problem sending pictures over 600KB via text app? I confirmed with my carrier that their limit is 4MB. So it should work. APN settings are correct. This has been going on for many months and I’ve done a few wipes and reinstalls of the OS on my phone.

You could try changing the MMS automatic compression setting in the Message App settings and see whether the behaviour is the same.

there are image related issues still in qksms. I admittedly don’t test for it as I’'m charged for each mms.

I should have clarified that the 600KB size I mentioned is the compression setting in the app. Not the picture itself. However, I didn’t do the steps you mentioned in the second link until just a few minutes ago and that worked. In fact, the image sent compressed to 744KB. That’s the best size I’ve sent. Thank you so much for the information in the links!
