Hello Anonyme,

thanks for your work.

I just bought a used Asus Zenpad 8.0, but i am not able to unlock the bootloader (device is in fastboot mode):

adb reboot bootloader

gives me

error: no devices/emulators found

and

fastboot devices

gives me

H8NPCX030549CJ6 fastboot

fastboot oem unlock

gives me

... FAILED (remote: unknown command) finished. total time: 0.002s

After trying it several times I just realised, that I do have the Asus Zenpad 8.0 Z380M. But your build is for the Z380KL. Do you think that makes a difference? I suspect it…

Okay, I just read a little bit in the xda-forum about this “fairly uncommon device” and there seems to be no chance to get a custom rom for it… :frowning:

Someone managed it to build a version of TWRP for it but that’s it…

Just bought a real Zenpad 8.0 Z380KL and installed without any problems your build! That’s really cool: It runs much faster than the Asus stock rom (which was/is really annoying…).

Thanks for the good work!

Sunny

Hi
I downloaded it and installed it every thing is good but there is a problem:all of my access to the internal storage is blocked apps also.
I have to insert an SD card to store data without SD card I can’t do anything

Do you have any idea how can I fix it? (Redownloading and reinstalling didn’t do the trick)

hi sorry for the late answer,

did you tried a factory-reset in settings ? (or format /data in TWRP ?)

I had done more advanced things, but it didn’t work.
It’s very interesting that it was fixed with a factory reset
Thank you for the answer
