Hello, I’m using /e/os for one year on a samsung S10e. I’m very happy about this change
I’m testing your build on the HTC One m7.
The goal is to give this phone to my young son with a second user profile (when I’m the admin). The most important for this project is privacy, thus, I want to be sure that I can block access to several apps for this 2nd user.
However, I discovered a bug in the build.
In Privacy Settings, for the 2nd user (whether I choose User or Restricted profile), as usual, I can select the apps to be protected after saving the secure Pattern.
But when I try to open a protected app, I have as normal the security notification from Android system. Then, when I click on this notification, the request of secure Pattern doesn’t open; instead, it opens the full list of apps, where the protection can be removed. Or, sometimes, it notifies again and again the same pattern request without giving the option to effectively open the selected app.
For the owner profile, all works perfectly.
Is it possible to fix the bug. That will be very nice
Thanks in advance and thanks for this build anyway.
You can try this:

Thanks, I’m going to test
I’ll let you know.
Hi, I have tested both build but It’s not working.
e-0.21-n-20241017-UNOFFICIAL-m7 : Phone blocked on the HTC white boot screen.
e-2.3-r-20241017-CUSTOM-m7 : Phone reboot and reboot … after the e. black screen.
I used twrp-3.7.0_9-0-m7 to install.
Any idea ?
No sorry I don’t not have the device myself. Check xda entries for respetive LOS versions, often you need a dedicated TWRP version
I’m going to check xda, thanks for the support
