Thanks @ronnz98 !

I see that the warnings from post [UNOFFICIAL BUILD] Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 (sunny/mojito) for /e/OS-T are not there anymore.
Is the build stable?

Thanks

Most users are constantly clamouring for new CustomROM versions and expect the system to run stable without being prepared to do anything about it themselves.

But, a new development takes time and especially users who are willing to take a risk and test the builds of @ronnz98. Only if several users share their experiences, the ROM builder can draw his conclusions and try to provide a well-functioning ROM.

No risk, no fun! Let’s go. Test the build and share your experiences with us!

I understand, thanks for your reply.
I don’t know exactly how the building of roms works.

I’ve not the resources right now to test and report, but yes, as soon as I try (can takes months…) I’ll report back!

I very much appreciate all the work being done in this community.

Here is an example of constructive co-operation:

You have to test the ROM yourself since I do not own this device. I made a nice how-to for building unofficial ROMs. You can also find it in the forum if you are interested

[ROM][15][UNOFFICIAL] LineageOS 22.1 [27/01/2025] [OTA Updates]

  • This version comes in two flavors, GApps (Core) and MicroG
  • Signed User Build
  • OTA-Update

I unbricked my Note 10 and tried again but once again, after successful installation, e/os/ doesn’t boot.

But the good thing is that there is e/os/ 2.8. U version on xda which works fine.

I hope that roonz98 doesn’t mind if I link it here:

https://xdaforums.com/t/e-os-e-2-8-u-rom-unofficial-android-14-ota-magisk-twrp-pbrp-orangefox-xiaomi-redmi-note-10-sunny-mojito-vanilla-special-06-02-2025.4717275/

If it’s against the rules, please delete my post.

So @Thovi , try the xda version, it works for me. Follow the install instructions, I used PBRP recovery to install it.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. This phone works with e/os/ GSI 2.9. U which @Colors built. You can find it here:

Just install it from fastboot and format data afterwards.

This will remove all my apps and settings right?

Does this works?

Thank you, didn’t the time yet, but I’ll try whenever I can!

Already install the e-2.8-u version for my redmi note 10. It kept shutting down everytime. Nothing that trigger the shutdown tough. Anyone with soluition ?

i’m gonna try this one instead , let me report this back to you asap for bugs.

Hey Ronald @ronnz98! I already ask this in the Redmi Note 13 PRO tread, but also have RN10. Is it possible for you to share the build process of /e/OS for RN10 (i.e. sources, build environment specifics if any, etc.)?

Does the ROM work? I don’t have feedback yet. But process is same as I outlined in RN 13 PRO thread

Thanks a lot! I am reading your answer now. Will try to build later, but may try your image on RN10 to see how it performs before I attempt to build my own image (notice, the one who said they would test the image is @alay, not me - I lived for way too long with a conviction /e/OS was not supported on RN10, so I am excited to try, but just found out about your unofficial build).

Do I correctly understand it recently became much harder to unlock the bootloader on Xiaomi devices due to their account limitations?
Finally, do you have the limitations of the image documented anywhere (i.e. what I am supposed to expect NOT working compared to the stock image - if there is anything that needs attention)? I mean: release notes, if you have any.
