Using 2.4t version and the internet is working normal it’s just turned all internet access off bydefault in apps settings iknow I’m stupid
But it’s working very good battery life is also good and no rendom reboots no lags
Thats great…maybe you want to write a short how-to how you install 2.4-T so other can use it?
Here’s how i installed the /e/os 1.19 and 2.4 version on my galaxy a50
Requirements:
-
- Lineageos 20 rom for a50
-
- /e/os system.img (you can download the system.img from above post/reply from the developer)
-
- And custom recovery (i preferred twrp)
Installation process:
Flash Lineageos 20 in twrp After flashing Lineageos 20 go back and flash any mint kernel (aosp 12 version)
Then first boot the Lineageos otherwise /e/os will stuck on boot logo after successfully booted Lineageos, do not complete the setup screen just power off the power and boot into twrp again
Then go to install then select the /e/os system.img and select system option then swipe to flash
Final reboot end enjoy
Is this ok @ronnz98 sir i never written Installation process before longgg process
Hello /e/os dear @ronnz98 developer Can you please make an android 11 based /e/os for us based on Lineageos 18.1 because it gives more performance and looks good too please do if you can for usss, please do reply and let me know whether it is possible or not.
Theoretically it might be possible if I find reliable sources. Practically it does not make much sense since LOS18 reached end of life and gets not updates since Feb 2024
Hello /e/os dear @ronnz98 I hope you continue to support updates to solve some things like
The browser does not support Google search engine
Show recent app button (i fix it by flash pixel launcher module)
Other than that everything is stable
Since /e/OS is intended as google free system I would strongly assume that google search engine wont be included in their Browser. If you want to search with google install Firefox or another Browser
That’s exactly what i did. Thank you for supporting our phone
