Hi ronnz,

thx for investing some time in such an old device like the Note 2 from Samsung…

I testet your Rom yesterday. Right after flashing and first try to boot, the phone went to download mode and the Rom did not boot…

The official e.OS Rom with Android 7.1.2 (v.0.19) booted fine but is a little outdated now… Also an unofficial lineage 18.1 Rom booted fine but suffer from random reboots…

I will test your first Rom ‘e-0.23-p-20240116-UNOFFICIAL-t0lte.zip’ today. Maybe this time my oldie can boot up with it…

I also tried to install it and couldn’t make it work unfortunately.

Believe it or not, but Note 2 got Lineage 18, 19, 20 and 21 and they are regularly maintained by the developers. I have installed them recently and they work fine.

I also tried to built e/os/ from those sources but got error255 for /dev/block/mmcblk0p13. I’m still a fresh noob when it comes to e/os/ building.

@ronnz98 can you maybe try it out? Sources with manifests are here:

Sorry, I have n7100 and n7105, I thought they would all work the same because official e/os/ Nougat for t0lte works for all (it says n7105 under supported but also works for n7100, it’s the same phone without LTE)

I also tested the XDA Rom’s with LOS 18 -21 for n7105. And all of them suffer from random reboots when a LTE card is in use, which is typically the case, because it’s a smartphone, right?

I read somewhere about that issue and found out that there a problem exists with the modem drivers with later LOS versions than 16…

The last LOS version which runs smooth without reboots is 16 > lineage-16.0-20220126-HTML6405-t0lte.zip

I think it can be found at XDA also or at the androids filehost > lineage-16.0-20220126-HTML6405-t0lte.zip | by html6405 for Galaxy Note 2
