1st attempt
Maunal update via install *.zip per OF from internal storage, but -
Despite the above-mentioned unchangeable setting in the /e/OS-R Updater, the /e/Recovery contained in the *.zip ROM is not installed, much to my delight.
After the manual update:
System starts up to the animated e-logo, immediately terminates the further boot process with the message ‘Shutting down’ and switches off. (Tried and verified several times!)
After factory reset
Format data + Wipe (Dalvik / ART Cache, Cache, Data) - Galaxy S6 switches off after a few seconds, after which the animated e-logo was briefly visible.
2nd attempt
Clean install (loss of all existing data) via adb sideload *.zip by @ronnz98
Installed version of /e/OS: e-2.0-s-20240526-UNOFFICIAL-zerofltexx by @ronnz98
Installed of Recovery: OrangeFox R.11.1 stable (OF)
Installed MicroG version 0.3.1.240913-10
BlissLauncher 3.0.1-beta
After the complete reinstallation, a stable e-system appears at first glance. It remains to be seen whether this remains the case. Nevertheless, thanks for ROM Building, @ronnz98
Thank you for your efforts and the builds you made. I am using e os 2.1 s a12 on Note5 (noblelte). As far as I know, it has Lineage os 20 android 13 support. Do you have the opportunity to make a new build?

the other thing i could find is the december 2024 lineageos 18 19 20 builds but i don’t know if anything useful will come out of this
