@piero My teacher, I tried installing the system from the first link successfully, but the device failed to boot after installing the WTRP … I could not open the recovery mode… I could not even open the device… except after pressing the home + volume up + volume down + power button together for 15 seconds or more… I installed WTRP From the internet and the version was 1.0.2 I think so, I will check…but after doing all the steps, the upgrade from the third link failed. Are you sure that the system is compatible with it? I used the basic system that has the Swiss flag on it because its history is more recent than the rest. Do you think the problem is here?

I’m trying to install this rom on my T555.
after a few hours of research I managed to find a TWRP updated enough to make flashing work.
(I had to remove the assertions to flash the image correctly because TWRP couldn’t find the model name correctly…)
the problem is that it stays on the initial loading screen (the one with the “e” and the ball going up and down) and doesn’t move from there.
after a few minutes it returns to TWRP.
What could it be?

For sm-T555 ( gt510lte )
the working TWRP version is 3.1.0-1, found here: https://xdaforums.com/t/recovery-twrp-3-1-0-1-galaxy-tab-a-sm-t350-355-357-550-555-sm-p350-355-550-555.3426560/
the rom will not install directly because TWRP does not correctly identify the device name, so you need to:
- extract the ROM zip
- edit the META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script file by removing the line with the asserts on the device name (it should be the first)
- repackage the zip
at this point, format and wipe from TWRP and then install the previously “patched” ZIP.
Magisk-v27.0 works for root

Thank’s for the build, but:
The SIM card is being recognized and unlocked durig boot. However
a) I can place calls and receive call, but cannot hear the other side and vice versa
b) Turning on mobile data, leads to a data connection, which cannot be used, because not default route is being defined (the symbol shows 4G, but also Edge does not work):

This, the initial mobile data setup works (interface configure, received an ip adddress. But no further configuration.

I have installed version 2.2 on my T555 (clean install).
Despite several attempts, I cannot log into the WLAN.
I can see different WLANs and log in, but the connection fails.
The status only shows “saved” instead of “connected”.
Does anyone have any ideas?
