@ronnz98 Hello, sir! I’ve got an Xperia Z5 Premium (E6853) (single SIM). I tested all three ROMs you made, and here are the results:
e-1.17-q-20240603-UNOFFICIAL-satsuki.zip
Confirmed bootloop. Stuck on the Sony logo.
e-1.17-q-20241216-UNOFFICIAL-satsuki.zip
Still bootloop. I can get past the Sony logo screen, but I’m stuck on the e logo with the bouncing ball.
e-2.3-r-20241216-UNOFFICIAL-satsuki.zip
Booted successfully! Everything I tested is working fine, and I didn’t notice any other new bugs. Awesome! (Bugs from the original LineageOS ROM still exist, though.)
Quick question: Would you mind building an Android S ROM for us? I saw that LineageOS 19.1 is on XDA, created by the same developer, Joel16, who made 18.1 and 17.1. In my tests, 19.1 is as stable as 18.1—totally usable! If we could get a /e/OS edition of it, that would be a dream come true!
Lastly, I just want to give a huge THANK YOU to you, sir. I also have a Samsung Tab S 8.4 (klimtlte) running your ROM, and it’s wonderful. Thanks so much for reviving my tablet! I can’t wait to try /e/OS-S on satsuki. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for your effort! Unfortunately, it keeps hanging at the Sony logo during booting, no matter what I try. I’ve re-downloaded the zip file and re-flashed it multiple times, but I still get the same results. I appreciate any further suggestions you might have!
I’d like to add some additional information. While the phone won’t boot, it can still access recovery mode. In recovery, it keeps displaying logs like this, and the right side of the screen is glitched.
The screen issue shouldn’t be related, as the TWRP on XDA had the same problem. However, those logs might be significant.
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi isn’t working. When I try to activate it, it automatically deactivates…
I hope they can fix that problem… everything else is fine…
Thanks! I flashed it two days ago, but the results are a bit… strange.
After flashing, I was able to get through the initial setup (I didn’t connect to Wi-Fi, so I can’t provide feedback). The home screen and notification panel look normal. The first thing I tested was the camera. I took a few pictures and recorded some video clips, and everything seemed to work fine.
But here’s where it gets weird: right after I finished the last recording, the screen suddenly went black after about 2-3 seconds. It didn’t shut down completely because when I long-pressed the power button, it didn’t vibrate and showed the boot screen. The LED indicator was blinking red. I had to force a shutdown (Volume Up + Power).
After that, I booted it up again, but this time I ran into a bootloop. I tried force shutting it down and booting several times, but it was still stuck. I even tried re-flashing the ROM, but it still resulted in a bootloop. I also attempted to flash LOS 19.1 and your e-2.3-r-20241216 ROM (both of which worked in the past), but they all led to a bootloop. Even the latest stock Sony Android 7.1.1 is stuck in a bootloop.
After flashing so many ROMs, I don’t think this is a software issue. I’m starting to think it might be a hardware failure. I’ll keep trying to fix it, but for now, I can’t provide any more information. I’ll keep you updated as I make progress!
