Hi there, I tried to install this version as a local update using the /e/OS update interface in the previous e-2.3-t-20240825-UNOFFICIAL-clover version that I was running, but unfortunately the new version only boot loops. Then I also tried installing e-2.4-u-20241002-UNOFFICIAL-clover.zip with TWRP, but it still only boot loops. Fortunately I was able to flash e-2.3-t-20240825-UNOFFICIAL-clover.zip again and my system boots up again with all of my data.

Please let me know if you need any more information to debug. Thanks again for the clover builds!

ok strange, the sources for the T version are still the same. So I would suppose those should work

Any better with this new version?

I’ll test it ASAP sometimes this week, thanks very much @ronnz98 for the update!

Thank you for this build. @ronnz98 Everything seems to be working, but the app grid is shifted right. I can’t find any settings to correct it. Does anyone have similar issues?

Great to hear, I think one of the workarounds is to enlarge the icons size… not sure though

Thanks @ronnz98. That worked. Though not the most elegant solution. Is there any plan to fix this display issue?

It’s been a long-standing issue not specific to @ronnz98’s builds:

I doubt that the /e/OS project will fix it because it seems to be an issue specific to tablets and the project doesn’t officially support any tablets. At least we can use a different launcher to avoid the issue.

Thanks @rahim123 for the background info. Is there an alternative lightweight launcher you can recommend?

I use the Fossify Launcher from the highly recommended Fossify-Suite

I just tested it, unfortunately it still just produces a boot loop. It looks like updating to this version is what causes the problem, as other users here seem to have had success with a fresh install. Please let me know if you need any more information from me.

Local update failure

I’ve just experienced the identical bug when trying to update IMG-e-2.7-u-20250111460593-community-tetris.zip on the Nothing CMF Phone 1. So the problem occurs not only with unofficial but also with community /e/OS ROMs.

Also 2.7 T build:

e-2.7-t-20250210-UNOFFICIAL-clover.zip

The Rom is great, the applications work perfectly. Before installing, I was worried whether the movie viewing apps downloaded from https://hdoboxplus.com/ would support it or not, luckily everything is fine. Thank you very much
