Update for /e/OS-U 2.6

Hello, I absolutely did not understand the order or way to do it by looking at the various links provided.

Is there an explanatory video in the order in which we must do them precisely?

I have a Xiaomi pad 6 and being able to switch to de-googled would be ideal.

Just found:

Did not watch fully so I don’t know how good it is.
Generally instead of Lineage ROM, install the /e/OS-ROM

Have you already taken the first step, namely unlocking the bootloader?

The most time-consuming part of the installation process on a Xiaomi Pad 6 (codenamed pipa) is unlocking the bootloader.

If you still have the Xiaomi Pad 6 Global firmware based on Android 13 installed, unlocking the bootloader will take 168 hours (7 days) from the time you apply to Xiaomi.

If you have already installed the Xiaomi Pad 6 firmware HyperOS based on Android 14, unlocking the bootloader will take at least 720 hours (30 days), more likely more, from the time you apply to Xiaomi. Especially here it becomes clear how Xiaomi harasses its users. It is not enough to apply to unlock the bootloader as before, no, the user must also install and activate the Xiaomi community app. See for example here

If you have the China version, unlocking the bootloader is only possible with a Xiaomi China account since the end of October 2024 - if at all. Nothing works with a Xiaomi Global account. Xiaomi is increasingly moving towards preventing the bootloader from being unlocked.

The video shows the installation process clearly, but as is so often the case, the background music in YouTube videos is annoying.

This LOS description can be used as a calm installation guide. The installation process is identical.

Wohhh, so I have none of this activator, I have the android version 14 hyperOS.

I have the developer mode activated and usb debugging activated.

Nothing else, how should this be done so that it is unlocked? it’s just on the app xiaomi communauty ?

Thank you very much for the youtube tutorial which is wonderfully complete =D

Xiaomi Unlocking Eligibility Instructions

Why don’t you just use a web search engine and find, for example: How to unlock bootloader on Xiaomi HyperOS?

Thank you , Indeed from what I understand it is just a request to make then wait for it to be validated, currently the number of devices has been reached, I have to wait until December 18: time to make my request, thank you very much =D

A new year means new hope, new thoughts and new ways to reach your goal … I wish you a good start to 2025!

Update for /e/OS-U 2.7:
Signed dev builds now

e-2.7-u-20250113-UNOFFICIAL-pipa.zip

I carried out all the manipulations and after installing version 2.7 black screen, nothing to do … it lights up but remains black =/.

I can start the bootloader mode, but all the other options (recovery mode, boot to ffbm, boot to qmmi" are impossible, the screen restarts and remains black.

Do you have the solution to be able to restart adb sideload?
!

Update for /e/OS-T 2.7

The T version was confirmed to work

e-2.7-t-20250115-UNOFFICIAL-pipa.zip

Thanks I will try. The original version being Hyperos android 14 will T be compatible? or do I have to go through U?

Another try for U, this time with different sources (lineageOS).

e-2.7-u-20250115-UNOFFICIAL-pipa-1.zip

Thanks for your help, even T doesn’t work, I tested Crdroid 14 as a rom and also lineage, nothing works … so the problem must come from my side.

When I arrive on recovery and I do factory data I have an error message that says "ERROR: recovery open failed /metadat/ota … Knowing that I did fastboot flash for the dtbo, vendor_boot and for boot.

Did I forget a detail?

Found newer sources:

e-2.7-u-20250116-UNOFFICIAL-pipa-2.zip

Thank you, have they all been tested with crdroid 14? on which original version of the xiaomi pad 6? (hyper os version and if it is European, Chinese, Indian etc…)

version 2.7 U does not work for me, however version 2.7 U pipa 2 started up to the E logo but never went further.

Without knowing the real reason (on my tablet it’s random…) I managed to start the 2.7 T. which works more or less, APP lounge cannot download apps linked to the playstore anonymously and F-Droid does not seem to want to work to search for apps. In short, it remains a detail.

Now I would like to know how I can recharge the xiaomi smart pen v2 (normally it recharges by being stuck by magnet with the tablet, but in bluetooh it does not appear …)?
Also know how I can later if you release the update 2.8 T etc … how I can do the update without having to erase all my data?

Thank you
