Hello.

I flashed your e/os/ build for Xiaomi Note 3 (kenzo) but unfortunately it gets stuck at boot animation (letter e with bouncing dot).

What I tried:

  • wait a few hours at boot animation
  • restart multiple times
  • flash through different recoveries (OrangeFox, TWRP and even recovery included in your e/os/ build but that one doesn’t work properly)
  • dirty flash e/os/ build over working Lineage 17.1.
  • combine lineage and e/os/ rom files into flashable zip

but nothing worked. Only Lineage boots, e/os/ never.

If it’s of any help, this is a working Lineage 17.1 ROM as the one in initial post from xda is deleted (maybe that’s the reason for incompatibility):

If anyone has any idea how to make e/os/ work on kenzo, please do tell.

This one works like a charm.

So far so good, stable, fast and battery life is through the roof without google and xiaomi tracking bloatware.

Hello.
I’ve flashed your new build e-1.21-r-20240426_075700-UNOFFICIAL-kenzo.zip.
Everything works great: 2API access is totally enebled and I’ve even successfully installed GCAM to my device. The app works perfect. But there is one bug I’ve noticed. The ROM have occupie almost all space on System partition. Only about 24 Mb of free space left on it. So I even couldn’t install GApps’s pico edition from the recovery boot. It causes the 70 error during installing the GApps.
I’m very appreciated for your great work and really believe that you’ll succeed to compile the perfect ROM for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro based in Android 11!

Hello,

I have just installed e-1.21-r-20240314_092827-UNOFFICIAL-kenzo.zip on my Xiaomi Note 3 and it runs very well. I like it.

Are there any plans to do an Android 13 or Android 14 at all ? :slight_smile:

It would really be appreciated as I am a developer and use the Note 3 for testing. Google has made some changes in Android 13/14 that caused my app to crash. I finally managed to sort it out but now I need to test on phones running Android 13 at least but preferably 14.

As such I was just wondering of you had plans to do a build for 14 ?
