Thank you very much for all your effort. Unfortunately, for me at least, the bliss launcher still crashes right at the beginning of setup and doesn’t work after setup (no navigation icons, no apps on the “desktop”). I had to roll back to the last working version 1.21.1-s again.

Which Version did you install?

First 1.21.1s, then downloaded the 2.2s on the device and just installed with twrp. Everything works.

I tried the 2.1s few days ago and it didnt work, but I did it with sideload if that matters.

Device is SM-T580

The bliss launcher still crashes after installing the /e/ 2.3 on my device SM-T585. I have wipe the system and data partitions before. Perhaps the hardware buttons can be the problem?

Oh blimey, I’ve installed /e/ on my SM-580 gtaxlwifi a couple of times.
Now I want to update to 2.3 via SD card but I can´t find the instructions anymore.
I forgot how to enter recovery and what to wipe, Dalvik?
Can someone point me please?

for an update or an upgrade, just DON’T WIPE ANYTHING !

if you forgot buttons combination (generaly volume up + home + power) :

  • in settings, you can enable the “power menu advanced restart” feature that propose you to reboot in recovery mode
  • with “USB debbuging” feature enabled on the phone, open a rterminal on you pc and type :
    adb reboot recovery
