No worries. I know, the reply function is not ideal here in the forum
This is because that unofficial ROM is buit using the āLineageOS-ULā (Ultra Legacy) repos rather than the normal āLineageOSā repos that /e/OS is built on. So some code in the device tree needs the LOS_UL version of some files - in particular the hardware-related repos
I got bitten by this a while ago when I was trying to build IodĆ©OS for suzuran - I gave up because I didnāt have time (or motivation) to get my head round it 
Iām currently fighting with it again, trying to build IodĆ©OS for another ālegacyā device (Xperia Tablet Z pollux). I think I can solve it, but thereās still a bit of work to do.
I will post information here when (if?) I get it all working: the 'fix` - which should be similar for /e/OS - is to use manifests to replace the LOS version of the required repos with the LOS-UL versions. In the meantime you can follow my āprogressā here.
Professor-Berniās is the developer of the unofficial LOS builds for suzuran. Have a look at hisālocal_manifests repo to see how he does it.

Thanks Pete! I tried to build klte now using latest /e/OS-T sources and also using the lineageOS-UL sources as needed. It took me some hours (and some cursingā¦) but at the end I could successfully build. Hope that is runs too. However I will do this not again. If someone is interested on taking this over I can write a how-to.
That was not easy. Might not even work, but worth a tryā¦

Sadly, no boot 
From TWRP and SD it does install, but then goes into ODIN mode, no more recovery either then.
Did this twice, same result.
Then flashed TWRP again and installing this:
Worked well, so I rebooted into recovery from there and tried your ROM as a dirty install, but again, it only went into ODIN mode.
Thanks anyway, maybe Mr. Sandman brings you an idea over night
Iād be interested - you must have solved some of the problems Iām still facing. Iāve had to put work with LOS-UL repos to one side while I deal with other stuff, but I hope to get back to it in the coming week. So if you have the time to write some notes, that would be great. No worries if you have other stuff to do

I used the following source files from there and put them in the respective folders:

kernel_samsung_msm8974-lineage-20.zip
vendor_samsung-lineage-20.zip
I used the repo style and downloaded the latest /e/OS version.
From the github lineageos source I took also the following:
android_hardware_sony_timekeep-lineage-20.zip
android_device_samsung_klte-common-lineage-18.1.zip (did not find a 20 version)
During build I got errors and replaced the the folders that the error came from.
From https://github.com/orgs/LineageOS-UL/ I took the following and copied over and replaced the /e/OS sources:
/device/lineage/sepolicy/
/frameworks/libs/net/
/hardware/lineage/interfaces/
/packages/modules/Connectivity/
/build/soong
/packages/modules/Connectivity/
Do not delete the /e/OS folders of above from /e/OS sources. You need the .git file from those!
I got one error in includes non-existent modules in PRODUCT_PACKAGES Offending entries which I commented out- it seems that this is a mistake in the device file (was one of the codecs)
I think thats pretty much all
