Although my
Although my Galaxy S7 (herolte) settings were set to update the recovery during the update, this was not done. Nevertheless, a problem-free manual update was carried out without data loss using e-Rcovery T-V1.16 via adb sideload from:
- Choose from internal storage
- Choose from sdcard1 (microSD card)
- Choose from usb (stick)
Note: This does not offer abd sideaload features for devices with e-Recovery.

Existing e-Recovery 1.18-T was not updated to the current version 1.20-T.
The announced new BlissLauncher version is unfortunately not integrated.
My quick test shows me a perfectly working /e/OS 1-20-T. Many thanks for building @ronnz98

I try :
- e recovery version 1.19 (20240111)
- e-1.20-t-20240224-UNOFFICIAL-herolte.zip
Without success
1 - No problem to flash the e recovery
2 - Format data/factory, cache, system
3 - No problem to install herolte after reset
4 - Reboot of the system, splash screen samsung and logo e witn it’s bouncing ball during 35mn.
and cycling with screen splah samsung and e logo…
Can you try to install as outlined by XXpsilon above please

Update for /e/OS-T 2.1:

To be on the safe side, I first made a new manual e-Recovery /e/OS-T V2.1 installation. Then e-2.1-t-20240613-UNOFFICIAL-herolte.zip was moved to the internal S7 storage and from there the e-Recovery V2.1 was successfully installed via Apply update > Choose from internal storage - without data loss:
Install comleted with status : 0
Did download e-2.2-t-20240723-UNOFFICIAL-herolte.zip and installed , clean install
with latest TWRP, and ADB sideload, no problems at all, so far seems two work fine…

You mean install in one click without loading through recovery ?

I update my S7 edge, coming from 1.7 to T 2.2. But now I can’t connect to the internet, Would installing this file maybe solve that problem ?
Can I install your file using sideload? If not what is the best way to install?
Why is there a need for this unofficial release? Are there problems with the official one?
