Version of Recovery which existed previously: PixelExperience_herolte-13.0-20230428-UNOFFICIAL by @ExpressLuke
The device is Not rooted

So far I’ve successfully installed and tested several CustomROMs for the ‘herolte’, including PixelExperience_herolte-13.0 -UNOFFICIAL by @ExpressLuke (Android 13) and lineage-19.1-microG-signed-herolte by los-legacy aka @Exodusnick (Android 12).

@ronnz98’s build e-1.15-s-20230914-UNOFFICIAL-herolte installed flawlessly, but after rebooting the system hangs in the Samsung S7 logo and reboots on its own after up to 20 seconds. This repeats itself permanently. e-1.15-s unfortunately does not boot and can therefore not be set up and used on my Galaxy S7.

Did you perform a clean install?

I generally do a clean installation! Dirty flash is taboo for me!!

By sending you a S7, perhaps? Should have 1 or 2 to give away…

No not for me. For the developers at XDA forums who did the LineageOS builds. One can donate eg. via paypal for them.
If you want to support me please test the builds I did if you have the respective Samsung devices. I would be especially interested for the S20 series how good these devices run under /e/OS

Sorry, my stash is only full of SM Galaxy S2 to about S10 and some A…

But since @piero started so set up a home build system for his beloved older SM devices, he got me hooked and I started one, too.
It worked out with out any hickup on my first try, with some low, low hardware from 10 years ago.

So I will look into building for S4, S5, S6, S7, but will test your build soon, too.

Sorry to confirm the exact same issue.

clean install, from file on SDcard using TWRP-3.7.0_9-1

booting system from within TWRP did not help

When trying to wipe from TWRP now, I see a red: Unable to mount storage.
Was not there before, so there are some parts missing in the ROM

Should I try a /e/OS build?

Am downloading e-1.14-q-20230815320612-stable-herolte right now and try a dirty install over stable, with your build.

What /e version do you mean here?

How much is yours different from LOS?

Please try an /e/OS-T.

I used his LineageOS 20.0 with microg until @Exodusnick’s complete exit from development in early 09/2023. It worked very well for months.

So there are the sources for this LOS Android 12L/S, ronnz dried to build and there are sources for LineageOS 20.0/ T

In this case I vote for an /e/OS-T build, too.

no I use the repo way. I have no experience with docker for unsupported devices
