I try :

• e recovery version 1.19 (20240111)
• e-1.20-t-20240224-UNOFFICIAL-herolte.zip
  Without success

1 - No problem to flash the e recovery
2 - Format data/factory, cache, system
3 - No problem to install herolte after reset
4 - Reboot of the system, splash screen samsung and logo e witn it’s bouncing ball during 35mn.
and cycling with screen splah samsung and e logo…

Update for /e/OS-T 2.1:

To be on the safe side, I first made a new manual e-Recovery /e/OS-T V2.1 installation. Then e-2.1-t-20240613-UNOFFICIAL-herolte.zip was moved to the internal S7 storage and from there the e-Recovery V2.1 was successfully installed via Apply update > Choose from internal storage - without data loss:

Install comleted with status : 0

Did download e-2.2-t-20240723-UNOFFICIAL-herolte.zip and installed , clean install
with latest TWRP, and ADB sideload, no problems at all, so far seems two work fine…

I update my S7 edge, coming from 1.7 to T 2.2. But now I can’t connect to the internet, Would installing this file maybe solve that problem ?
Can I install your file using sideload? If not what is the best way to install?
Why is there a need for this unofficial release? Are there problems with the official one?

@eosfan here (about s7) importance is hight to be pecise to avoid confusion between devices, /e/OS version (e-X.xx-), but also Android base (N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U), Buil- branch (stable, dev, unofficial, custom)

Are you coming from eOS S? Version 2.3 will be released soon. My inoffiziell Version is based in T (A13) while official is S (A12)

OTA update for UNOFFICIAL BUILDS? This is a rarity and is hardly ever practiced.

But updating manually without losing data has become much easier with /e/OS-T. Simply use the internal Local Update (Screenshots ‘Local Update’)

Hi Ronnz98,

Thank you for your work and to discover e/os on Herolte !

I try lot of ROM in my Herolte since few years and only problems I’m encounter to keep e/os and Lineages OS ROM with version > 7.

The bluetooth signal is low, when I use bluetooth headphone with Spotify (network music) or VLC (local music or video) audio still stuttering especially screen off.

In call, the audio volume and speaker is very low.

Have you many ideas to fix these issues please ?
