[UNOFFICIAL BUILDS] Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ / Note 8 for /e/OS S

Yes about dreamlte , but I guess my problem comes from the fact that data was not formatted and somehow it does not like it

So you did not perform a clean install?

No I’d like to keep my app data , and going from 1.12-S to 1.15-S felt safe to me

I can’t find the 1.12 previous ROM , do you have a link ? thx

I did not build a 1.12 version. Please see the versions I build so far:

Sorry my mistake was to think my rom was S , it was T actually
The one I flashed was e-1.12-t-20230530-UNOFFICIAL-greatlte.zip

just spotted it:

This is not my build. You can download my 1.16.1 T build here:

I had encrypted my S8 but I’m unable to find wher to click in order to remove this protection from my internal memory (I know that is boring but seemes there is no way to make a full nandbackup with twrp on an encrupted partition). Can you help me?

Hello,
thank you very much for your work. Unfortunately, although S8 and S8+ are among the officially supported devices and among the few with easy-installer, they are based on Android R aka 11 which is out of support. Unfortunately, there is no official newer version of Lineage OS, apart from this excellent unofficial work based on android 14.
Why doesn’t the /e/OS foundation maintain or support this developer to get an official version? If funds are the problem, an open collective or patron initiative could be opened.
Thank you all

P.S. I just found out that S7/S7+ and S8/S8+ will be the only ones to get official Android S aka 12 support. This is great news.
