[UNOFFICIAL BUILDS] Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet (karin / karin-windy) for /e/OS-R

I don’t think I ever tried. Looking at my notes, I think the last builds I made for thses devices was back in early 2021 - version was e-0.21-n-20230127.

Looking on XDA, there appears to be an unofficial LOS 19.1 build for this device which was last updated March 2024, so is pretty recent . Sources available at Alex009988 · GitHub. (Apologies if you’ve been their already)

I think Prof Berni mostly uses the LineageOS-UL github repos for a lot of his builds, if thatmakes a difference

so test results in few hours.
EDIT :

What works:

wifi : ok
sound : ok
sensors : ok (rotate)
bluetooth : ok
simcard : no tested
livedisplay :not tested
gps : ok (gps status : finding sat, but “position not found” ?)
microsd : ok
camera : ok (rear and front)

What doesn’t work:

none (after 1 hours of testing …)

Note : for me, the best release (before e-os current unofficial build) , for sony xperia tablet Z4 (karin , i got LTE release, so not windy)) (lineageOS) is the 19.1 + NikGapps-basic-arm64-12.1-20240813-signed.zip (bluetooth perfect, wifi ok … but during my test with free wifi wifi 6 … i need a reboot)

Actually the most recent build is from 20241030, and it will have the Allow signature spoofing’ changes implemented, so that microG can be installed from the microG F-Droid repo, effectively giving you LineageOS for microG
