Update a Samsung S8 (SM-G950F) to /e/OS 2.2

Hello,
I have a Samsung S8 with /e/OS 1.9-20230310268291 by on MURENA shop. I try to upgrade it to /e/OS 2.2, the last OS for my phone

The upgrade system of my phone find the /e/OS 2.2 of 07/15/2024 but he can’t download it. The failed is “Le téléchargement a échoué. Vérifiez votre connexion internet et essayer ultérieurement” in french. I can go on the internet with my browser on my phone. I also try to download it with my PC but the links are empty.

It looks as if the 2.2 build (this is the “stable” OTA link): https://ota.ecloud.global/stable/dreamlte/e-2.2-r-20240715417776-stable-dreamlte.zip is currently “lost” due to the servers outage.

Then meanwhile there is an issue in producing later builds, I see:

Is the v2.5 ready for the Samsung S8 ?
I continue to have the v2.2 in the upgrade system of my phone but it isn’t available.

there is no existing e-2.5-r nor e-2.5-s,
But there is :

  • e-2.6.3-s-20241220455849-community-dreamlte.zip
  • e-2.6.3-s-20241217455357-official-dreamlte.zip
