Upgrade to e/OS t version

I use an OnePlus 8T with /e/OS/1.15-s-20230916…
I want to upgrade to e/OS/1.15-t- …
So I want to go from android 12 to android 13.
Is this possible without installing first installing stockrom android 13 from Oneplus?
In the instructions I read to first install stockrom.
I was used to cyanogenmod and lineageos and never had to go back to stockrom

The Upgrade page https://doc.e.foundation/devices/kebab/upgrade contains a generic Warning and a generic Caution.

Warning: Please note this upgrade build could not be tested as there were no device specific testers available.

Caution: Before following these instructions please ensure that your smartphone is on the latest Android firmware available for your device.

Then the Example reads

For example if available

So a quick check that your Vendor security patch level is up to date with the latest OnePlus firmware release, is all you need.

Settings > About phone > Android version > Vendor SPL.

Android 12.
Newest version of e/OS
