Usablity: Increase "margin" to bottom of phone app to avoid accidental calls?

I run /e/ on an Samsung S7. I’ve running into a usability issue where touching the “back” or “recent apps” buttons while the phone app is active actually dials the bottom tiles of the phone app, which are immediately above the “back” or “recent apps” buttons.

Is there a way to make the phone app tiles smaller and/or create a larger dead area between the bottom tiles of the phone app and the “back” or “recent apps” buttons?

I experience a similar problem with the Message app but in this case touching the “back” or “recent apps” buttons accidentally selects the bottom thread (in the threads view) or inputs a space into it (in the message view).
