I am using a LG G5 h850 with /e/OS 2.4.1 (Android 13) and I am looking for a USB to LAN Adapter for it to use the phone without Wifi directly on LAN. I have tested two models but none of them worked.
Does anybody know a working adpapter model?

I could not have internet connection with an old Apple A1277 (and a USB A to USB C adapter, no name).
Difference between the Gigaset GS290 (Android 12, /e/OS 2.7-s-20250109460371-official-GS290) and the Samsung Tab S5e (Android 13 /e/OS 2.7-t-20250111240980-cpmmunity-gts4lv): the first one did not recognize the ethernet adapter , the second one seems to recognize, but I could not browse the internet.
If anybody has any suggestions … thank you in advance.
Make sure you use OTG adapters!
I’m using this USB3 HUB/Network adapter, mostly on Samsung /e but also on many other phones with Stock or LineageOS – I just don’t have a LG.

I have to say I have tested with the first adapter that came into my hands, just to check the question from @wuwa, I will have to check with others …

@make-nz: Which settings are you using in the developer options?
USB-Debugging: On
Root-Debugging: Off
Standard-USB-Configuration: File transfer or USB- Tethering
Anything else to consider?
Mine are the above, but I never have to go into these settings.
It’s plug 'n play for me – across at least 8 different Samsung devices on /e
