Using WhatsApp but without contact sharing

My first time, i’m not sure if this is the rigth place…

Hello community,
I’m looking for a way to install WhatsApp on a Fairphone 3+ without transferring all my contacts. All I’ve found in my search so far is that Samsung allows you to do this with private folders and Google also wants to add “Private Spaces”.

Is there perhaps an /e/OS option that I missed? With the dualSim option maybe? Or another option?
I am very grateful for ideas!
