I’m on CMF-1 with a fresh official install up to date.
I was trying to install VLC all this week without successful, i’m alone with that ?
VLC is downloading without trouble (from f-droid). but the install fail dunno why.
it’s with App Lounge 2.13.5
I already did :
Log out and log in to your account via the settings in App Lounge.
and
Clear App Lounge’s data by navigating to Settings > Apps > App Lounge > Storage & cache > Clear storage.
Cause i try to keep something simple, i try to resolve that before directly test from f-droid or aurora
Sometimes you are alone with that, sometimes you aren’t, sometimes you can only be patient and try again later and it will work without action (even without cache or data deletion). My opinion from reading all the posts and comments here on the Forum or Telegram Group.
Decide for yourself how you handle AppLounge, developers started using it also to update yome system apps sometimes. I switched to Aurora/F-Droid clients since Aurora has release notes of updates and F-Droid can add repositories.
And Aurora Store and F-Droid tend to just work consistently, as opposed to App Lounge, for all I experienced myself and all that I read here in the forum .
Same problem here also on a CMF1 from App Lounge.
How long will I survive without VLC…
By the way, same problem installation fail after a complete download with Osmand~

Yes, sorry, I was to quick to post.
I was afraid of some problems having both AppLounge and F Droid. (I experienced update issues on my previous phone with two strores)
But I tried F-Droid anyway just after and it works just fine without any interferences so far.
