Voice to text - how to!?

Hi! Please, I am new to Fairphone and having a little of a hard time.

For instance I am trying to get the voice to text working. Subscribed to Murena premium and when Im switching the keyboard the animation with the blue bars starts, but me talking does not lead to any letters appearing whatsoever. No microphone symbol or anything to push… I dont get it! :see_no_evil_monkey: Cam and mic is unlocked, permissions given as far as I can tell. What am I doing wrong?

Having the same issue. Using Futo Voice Input until I can get it figured out. Subscribing to this thread to get notified.

Hey,

tomorrow there will be a New release. Maybe it caused due to the change of the ai model which will be used locally on the phone with v.4.0. maybe this will fix your Problem:)

So after the update it at least seem to track voices (noices), the animation reacts - but still no letters appearing.

Just wanna make sure Im not missing something?

Having the same problem. Just got my new Murena Fairphone 6 :blush: :blue_heart:

Loving it, but can’t get vtt working. went into settings, keyboards, toggled on Murena vtt. doesn’t show up. rebooted. doesn’t show up. there is no way i’m typing in texts & posts :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Anyone know how to turn on voice to text? :folded_hands:

May I advise you to consult the /e/OS documentation? It is very useful for going further in your knowledge of /e/OS.

Have you checked all the prerequisites for VTT in this documentation topic? I am particularly thinking about the Murena Workspace Premium subscription.

i have been unable to sign up for murena.io. i keep getting a message that an error has occurred. i have reported it to Murena’s /contact webpage but haven’t got a response as of yet. was discussing it w/ Murena on Mastodon. but the email was in my real name.

but as for vtt only for premium…really?:rofl: someone is going to come up w/ an OS app for that & Murena will miss out on the opportunity to train their language AI on all of that content. but who knows. i may subscribe for the convenience before that happens. but i can’t subscribe to that if i can’t even sign up for Murena. kind of grating when i own & am using a Murena Fairphone.
