I have been waiting over a year to get a device I could run /e/ on, and finally I have the Galaxy S9+.
Once I loaded the correct twrp it was a simple install using odin. Holding an e account already meant set up of the device was relatively simple and quick. I live in New Zealand and there have been no issues with my banking app, sports streaming app or carrier service. I’m slowly adapting to new Foss apps replacing Google based but this is the main reason to switch to /e/ for me anyway, to go google free. I like the simplicity of the UI and have only added one extra widget, that being Flipboard for my news round up.
I look forward to exploring more of the /e/ experience over 2020 and any new updates that may come up.
