WebView doesn't load JavaScript

Hello,

i have an App on my phone that wants to authenticate via a website, the website serves some js and a stylesheet, nothing else. That works just fine in firefox, but not in the WebView, the site stays blank. I can’t reproduce this on LineageOS either, the site loads just fine there.

Looking at the HTML curl spits out the body just comes with an empty div

Is that something with Advanced Privacy or /e/'s flavor of WebView i can change? Any other ideas?
