There has been zero indication that tetris will get a16 at this time or even imminent.

A16 for CMF Phone 1 is to be planned. Will share details once the team starts working on this.
Hi Manoj, contrary to the above listing, GS290 is still in Android 12 with v4.0.
Is it still planned to be updated to A15 with v4.1 then?
Best regards, Thomas
Sorry for not updating the entry. The A15 update for GS290 has been moved to v4.1 due to an issue with the bluetooth part of the code on the device. Development and testing teams working on the fix.
FP3 4.0 → A15 ![]()
FP5 4.0→ A15 ![]()
FP6 4.0 → A15 ![]()
FP4 4.0 ….
→A14 still ( /e/OS stable FP4 download ) What happend ?
FP3 v4.0 official OTA launched !!! ![]()
Sad situation !!
May be the developper’s team keep some surprise for /e/ OS 4.1 :
And FP4 will be the first Fairphone with /e/ OS official with Android 16
The A16 build development and testing would take about a month to complete according to the developer. Will update on the progress.
Hmm. My FP5 has just updated without issues and it claims to be a 4.0, but it feels more like 3.7.4. I cannot see any of the new features appearing. Some of the links in this plan are suggesting that they will be delivered only in 4.1.
Could we get a list of what should we actually expect from the 4.0 release?
Release notes confirm that actually none of the big 4.0 features made it to the rollout.
That feels like something that should be announced by the team and not discovered at arrival by every user individually. Each user trying to find the features for couple minutes, adds up to thousands of hours of wasted time across the globe.
Y i have to agree
in the release it wasnt communicated that clearly and i expected to See passwords and backup feature..
It looks like the only announced feature that is actually present with the release is in fact the cloud data transfer from Google system to murena/next cloud system. So it is not even a part of the update of the local OS ![]()
If you need three more months, it is okay, the live launch event can wait ![]()
The map app is an excellent ambition and we wish you all the time necessary to at least reach the same stability and features as what offers Magic Earth. Today it is not yet at the stage of a possible beta test. Take the time you need or hire more engineers with European funds, but try not to yield to the update pressure from the market ![]()
It’s a new browser icon if anything, not a new browser.
A new browser was only announced for PC desktop … Welcome to Elixir!
Calendar app invites to guests in events should work now. They should get emails
The release notes say:
We embedded some new features and improvements!
FP3 is now available on AOSP 15
Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ is now available on AOSP 15
Back up your data before upgrading from AOSP 12 to AOSP 15. The device will indeed factory reset during the upgrade due to a change in the encryption method.
My question, just to be sure: The factory reset happens for the S9/S9+ only, not for the FP3?
Thanks, good to know! ![]()
