You would only get August security updates in the next release if 4.1 would be scrapped in favour of 4.2, which would come who knows when, or if 4.1 would be delayed further for who knows how long.
So it seems we will get July security updates before we get August security updates, as would be expected. Wake me up when it turns out it’s the other way around
