Week 44 - 2026, Development and Testing Updates

Thanks for that link.

In my opionion it is not very helpful if this information is hidden in the documentation intended only to users who are interested to build their own /e/OS (and who knows the correct keywords to search for?). The typical /e/OS user will just download and install /e/OS from the device related download page. Therefore it would be nice if the information would be available there.

Hi everybody,

I know via there that Official release has been launched for FP6 v4.4.1, but mybupdater doesn’t show it. The magic “5 refreshes taps” doesn’t make it appearing. Any clue why or if that’s a normal behaviour ? I van if course wait but it never happened this way before. And I can use the WiFi now but not later. That why I’m asking.

Thanks for your help !

Had the same issue with fp4. I downloaded the “ota” file and you can install it via local update through the updater.

So, it means I download the file into my phone directly. Then I select the file for the update within the updater. Does it erase the file automatically after the update ? Isnit safe tonremive it manually ? Afterwards, it won’t make trouble for OTA ? I should receive them as usual (even if this time not) ?

Thanks for your help !

You can safely delete it after the update is successfully completed.

No, it won’t, yes you should.
Going that route, from experience I would not expect issues like that, worked always fine…

Yet still it’s a staggered release, not every fp6 will receive it simultaneously, simply waiting a bit might also solve it …
