What does 'brick' mean in FP4 installation instructions?

I mean is it a soft or hard brick? I only knew of one brick (the hard variant) so maybe I was unnecessary anxious during the installation if it is a ‘mere’ soft brick that can still be reverted.

if you don’t respect some requirements,

  • you cannot install
  • you cannot boot
  • you can install and run, BUT you are not able to relock
  • you can install and relock, BUT you won’t be able to unlock anymore (to restore stock)
  • you can install, BUT when relocking, you loose any contact with the phone…

for some situations, only Farphone repair center can solve the problem
