What does the Add Account and Add Identity in the email settings do?

As the headline says, what does the Add Account and Add Identity in the email settings do? Are they used to import email from other providers? Can I use them to create email aliases?

Please be aware that they only work with @e.email accounts.

An account is … a @e.email account :wink:
An identity is another account, some of yours are allowed to send mail in behalf of.

So, you are saying that it is possible to manage multiple e.email-accounts using only one login? I tried to create a second e.email-account but the webpage said I could be invited once per invite-email-address.

I’m not sure I understand. Are you saying that I can send emails on behalf of another email address from my e.email address?

You should use a separate invite email address for each @e.email account :wink:

Yes, but you have to be authorized to. I don’t know how to get this authorization for /e/ cloud …
