I ve updated whatsapp through app lounge a few days ago. now whatsapp is starting, showing a screen for half a secound about something like google play store issues and then aborts.
i cannot use whatsapp anymore.
anyone seeing something similar?
… i haven’t found out the root cause (maybe the developer mode that was enabled), but i managed to solve the issue.
i simply installed the latest whatsapp .apk over my (broken) installation (after i manually backed up all whatsapp data for a potential later rollback). and indeed the new installation fixed it.
