Firstly, housekeeping note: I know WhatsApp is not great for data privacy etc. I still use it for keeping contact with people who struggle with new apps etc. Anyhooo…
FP3+ not rooted. Kept fully updated.
For several months now, my WhatsApp has been odd. When I open the app, I get the unlock screen as normal. Unlock via bio. More often than not, it then minimises and I have to press the app icon again. Always OK after the second go, and doesn’t require me to unlock it again, due to my settings.
Aided by an ongoing back and forth with a LLM, I downloaded ADB tools and had a rummage to see if there is anything untoward going on. I’ve also scanned my phone with Surfshark and Malware Bytes. No signs of foul play or corrupted files etc.
Still curious and wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
