Whatsapp with /e/ unlocked bootloader

Hello all,

sorry to bother with this app…
But I’m using it in my work too, so need it.
I had a Huawei without Play store and Whatsapp didn’t work (no “official app”, downloaded from official whatsapp website, but “no official app”)
Question really simple: does WA work with /e/ OS when bootloader is unlocked ?

I’ve never had an issue running Whatsapp on a bootloader-unlocked and/or rooted phone. That’s certainly not to say that it may turn into an issue eventually, but so far, Meta apps don’t seem to care about running on /e/OS phones (Instagram and FB Messenger are also working in my experience).
