The Photos folder has multiple copies of many of my uploaded pics. How can I delete the ones I don’t want there?

Quite why there are multiple copies, idk, but I think we are talking about the copies the ecloud. I did not find a way to delete from within the Photos app in ecloud … I have to use the Files app. This means one has to untangle where the copies of the photos actually are!
Within All files we see Photos and Pictures. In the case of multiple copies you might checkout whether any folders or sub-folders got copied to another location … perhaps by a backup tool ( ? ).
Two ways to delete:
in this image we see " … Actions" this contains the option to delete.
In other views clicking on the … leads to the same sub-menu.
