Following on the discussion about Wifi issues with Murena Two phones:
The issue is still there but I found another interesting behaviour: If the phone is not actively used for some time the Wifi driver apparently does not try to reconnect anymore. It even does not bother to search for networks. The issue is quite similar to the Signal issue I wrote about some time ago. The basic quote in that discussion was:
Yeah, the nice word “optimized” means just “not working” in many cases.
Apparently there is an energy setting also for the Wifi app but it is bound to the “optimized” setting. Is there a way to allow unlimited energy usage here? And if not: Why? I understand that it should not be set to limited usage but unlimited should be feasible.
