I have a problem with receiving MMS. First I mistyped the APN but I solved that one and could receive MMS. But now I can’t again. It was last week that I fixed the problem but now it doesn’t work again.
They don’t show up at all, but when I resync my messages I get that I have received a message but it won’t show.
I checked the APN and it was correct.
I have to sync my messages every now and then to be able to both send and receive MMS. Not sure how often but at least a few times per day.
If I receive a MMS during the time I had not synced my messages it won’t show what I got sent. How do I fix?
Have you already checked with your mobile network provider whether there’s MMS trouble on their end?
You might also use the opportunity to ask when they plan to phase out MMS, as mobile network operators have done so already or have plans to do so in general .
I have not checked with my operator but friends and family with the same operator do not have a problem with it.
I deleted all of the APN’s this morning except from the 2 I need and so far it works. As default I had like 10-15 APN for different operators. So might have been a cluster fuck with all different APN’s.
I continue to send myself MMS every now and then between both my SIM cards just to see.
Well, I can send and receive MMS but they are very blurry. Just changed over a night without me changing any settings. Before text was readable and fine but now I can count the pixels.
In the messaging app I have it set on auto compress. I tried to change it but then it fails to send.
